Fred Shafer, who was an editor with TriQuarterly, the literary journal published by Northwestern University, says "The writing is excellent" and "I have thoroughly enjoyed reading these pages and seeing how well you have inhabited Susan's personality and state of mind, even while using the third-person point of view."
